Research has indicated that dogs of a medium to large size usually possess a bite strength spreading between 200 and 600 PSI. It should be highlighted that relying solely on the PSI measurement may not provide a precise indication of a dog's propensity for aggression or potential risk.

The behaviour and likelihood of dogs biting is largely determined by factors like their disposition, training and socialisation. It's important to keep in mind that adequate training and socialisation can play a significant role in preventing aggressive conduct and lowering the likelihood of dog attacks.
