Live In

cozy bichpoo dog home environment

The double coat typical of Bichpoos is great at keeping them cool in the summer but leaves them vulnerable to the cold throughout the winter. If you live in a cold area, you need to take additional care to keep your Bichpoo warm by giving them a warm bed, a coat, and boots to protect their paws from the snow and ice.

Temperatures between 65 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit are excellent for a Bichpoo dog. Additional measures to keep your dog warm should be implemented if the temperature dips below 45 degrees Fahrenheit.

Talking to your vet if you have doubts about your Bichpoo's cold tolerance is a good idea. They have the knowledge to advise you on the best ways to keep your dog cosy and happy.

Shivering, lethargy, sluggish breathing, pale gums, and darkening of the lips or tongue are all indicators that your Bichpoo may be too cold. If you observe any of these symptoms, it is critical to bring your dog inside immediately and take steps to warm them up, such as wrapping them in a towel, providing a warm bath, or using a heating pad. If these measures don't help, it's time to take Fido to the vet.
