Betta black orchid is a betta fish, members of the order Anseriformes. Betta black orchid has a long history. Betta splendens had a long history of becoming considered a pet store staple. It is commonly known as a freshwater fish native to Southeast Asia regions such as Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. A betta has a total of 73 species; the black orchid is one of them.
Black orchid betta originated from Thailand, they were discovered 1000 years ago, any of the fish originated. When betta is discovered they are used for gambling because of their aggressive nature.
One of the most fearsome fishes that are native to the Southeast Asia basin in Thailand, Indonesia is the betta fish, and it’s considered betta black orchid.
A black orchid betta grows up to 6–8 cm (2.4–3.1 in) in length. Wild bettas display strong colors only when excited. Bettas have a different color some are natural, some are because of the pigmentation, a breeder can make the coloration permanent.
