Despite their tiny size and calm demeanour, Bolognese dogs nonetheless need regular exercise to maintain their health, happiness, and excellent conduct.
Although smaller, less energetic breeds need less exercise overall, it's still important for their well-being, muscular tone, and stress levels. The ideal amount of daily activity for a Bolognese dog depends on its age, health, and individual demands, but is often between 20 and 30 minutes.
Walking your Bolognese dog every day is an excellent way to fulfil their daily activity requirements. A vigorous 15 to 20-minute stroll in the morning and repetition in the evening help to burn off their energy, enable investigation of their surroundings, and encourage contact with their environment.
Beyond the physical advantages, these walks give brain stimulation as they experience new smells, sights, and noises. These walks may be made more interesting by including mini-games of fetch or other interactive activities.
For indoor exercise, particularly during unfavourable weather conditions or for those in constrained living situations, Bolognese dogs benefit from interactive playing. Toys, puzzle feeders, and hide-and-seek activities not only provide some physical exercise but also stimulate the mind.
