The Boxer Dog is a Ger man dog breed that dates back to the late 1800s. It was carefully bred by combining many lines, most notably English Bulldogs and Bullenbeissers. This breed was originally used to hunt big game, such as boars, but it subsequently developed into a versatile working dog and a loyal friend.

They have a square head, a short nose, and an undershot bite, in which the lower jaw extends beyond the upper. Though ear clipping confronts prohibitions in numerous countries for cosmetic reasons, their distinctive look is mostly due to their dark, expressive eyes and chopped or natural ears.

Description
