Water

keeping your boxerdoodle hydrated and healthy

Boxerdoodles have a wide range of water needs that are affected by their size, activity level, and geographic location, among other things.

To maintain proper hydration, the normal dog needs between 50 and 70 millilitres of water per kilogram of body weight per day.

To give you an idea, a Boxerdoodle weighing 25 kilos (55 pounds) would typically need roughly 1.25 to 1.75 litres of water every day. To determine how much water your dog needs, it's best to consult with a vet who can provide individualized suggestions.

Keep in mind that there are times when a Boxerdoodle will need more water than usual, like when it's really hot outside, when it's engaging in strenuous activity, or when it's dealing with a medical issue.

Your Boxerdoodle must always have access to clean water. Remind them how important it is for their health to stay hydrated by giving them enough to drink daily. A simple yet effective approach to ensure that your pet Boxerdoodle is adequately hydrated and healthy is to keep their water dish frequently filled.
