To keep your Bullmastiff hydrated and healthy in general, it is necessary to provide them with enough water. Due to their size, Bullmastiffs need more water than smaller dog breeds. Size, activity level, food, and environmental factors are some of the variables that might affect how much water they need.
The recommended daily water intake for Bullmastiffs is 1 to 1.5 ounces per pound of body weight. Take a 100-pound Bullmastiff as an example; it needs about 100–150 ounces (or 3–4.4 litres) of water each day. This is just a rough outline, however, since everyone's requirements are different.
Dogs who are always on the go, whether it's playing or exercising, will need more water to quench their thirst. Keep an eye on your Bullmastiff's water consumption and give them extra if they're really active.
Excessive perspiration and panting might cause more water loss in hot and humid conditions. Keep your Bullmastiff well-hydrated by providing it with lots of water, especially during the warmer months.
The lack of moisture in kibble means that Bullmastiffs fed dry kibble may need more water than dogs fed wet or raw food.
