All dogs, even Chihuahuas, need constant access to clean water. Chihuahuas' water requirements might change based on their size, amount of activity, surroundings, and local climate, among other things. Typical daily water consumption for a Chihuahua is from half a cup to one cup (120-240 ml).

Give them a dish of fresh water: A clean water dish should always be available for your Chihuahua. Every day, to keep the bowl clean and free of germs, rinse it and fill it up with new water.

Try to drink plenty of water: You should monitor your Chihuahua's daily water consumption. By doing so, you can determine their normal water consumption and spot any drastic variations.

Think about the weather and amount of activity: More water may be necessary for your energetic Chihuahua when the weather is hot. Ensure they have access to water as required and keep a tight eye on them throughout these times.

While travelling or engaging in outdoor activities, remember to pack water and a portable dish for your Chihuahua to drink. In warmer temperatures, it is particularly critical to ensure that they are hydrated.
