Like other tiny and medium-sized dog breeds, the biting power of a Chiweenie is typically regarded to be minimal when compared to that of bigger dog breeds. Bite strength is not always indicative of a dog's personality or behavior, however.

Chiweenies are a combination between Chihuahuas and Dachshunds, therefore they tend to be little and sweet. They are not notorious for possessing a powerful bite or being very aggressive. When properly socialized and taught, chihuahuas (also known as chiweenies) are known for being sociable, loving, and social with humans and other pets.

Every Chiweenie is an individual, with its own personality and quirks. A Chiweenie's behavior may be shaped via early and consistent socialization with humans and other animals, training with positive reinforcement, and proper pet keeping.
