Place To Sleep

cozy nap corner for cocker spaniel

The best thing you can do for your Cocker Spaniel is to get him a bed or cage that is tailored to his size and breed. Pick a bed that meets all three criteria: comfort, support, and maintenance. A dog's crate might act as a den in which he or she feels protected and comfortable.

A Cocker Spaniel's resting quarters should be a calm, peaceful space in your house. This will make them feel safe and allow them to get some much-needed sleep with fewer interruptions.

The bedroom should be well-ventilated and maintained at a comfortable temperature. Do your best to ensure that your dog's resting area is not near any openings that may let in draughts, such as windows or doors.

Dogs do best in environments that are both predictable and consistent. One should train your Cocker Spaniel to sleep and wake up at regular hours. This promotes a sense of safety and sets the stage for regular, restful sleep.

cage training is optional, but if you do decide to do so with your Cocker Spaniel, ensure that the cage is large enough for the dog to stand up, turn around in, and lay down in. Make the crate more bearable by stuffing it with comfortable bedding.
