Water

liquid love for your corkie pup

Your Corkie will never be thirsty if you keep a bowl of fresh water nearby. Replace the water daily to keep it clean and free of sediment.

If your house or yard is very vast, you may want to provide your Corkie with many water dishes. This is especially helpful in hot weather or after strenuous exercise, when they may need to drink extra water to replenish lost fluids.

Monitor your water intake: Make note of how much liquid your Corky drinks. Although it is critical to ensure that water is always available, changes in water use, either too much or too little, may indicate a problem. If your pet's water consumption suddenly changes, it's important to see a veterinarian.

Water issues in the great outdoors: Make sure your Corkie always has somewhere cool and shady to go when they go outside. In order to keep the water colder for longer periods of time during hot weather, ice cubes may be added to the bowl.

Bring a portable water bottle or a collapsible water dish whenever you take your Corkie on excursions or activities. In this way, you can ensure that kids drink water even when on the move by bringing water with you on walks and other activities.
