Feather tail betta prefers carnivores’ diet. To maintain color provide a high protein diet. You can offer them protein-rich food such as Flakes and pellets they provide proper nutrition to the betta. If you offer marble betta fish, offer them pellets or flakes that are high quality and protein-based.

Bloodworms and frozen brine shrimp are great, but they will be happy when you provide them with live food. They will eat everything that is put in the tanks including small insects, snails, and brine shrimp.

Offer them a variety of food so betta gets all the essential nutrition. They opt for meats because they require a large amount of protein for proper functioning. Frozen food is great for most of the species. The good thing about frozen food is you don’t have to throw it, just cut it into chunks and place it in an aquarium.

Healthy diet maintain their natural color. betta fish are picky eaters but also have good appetites. Once you prefer a palette; they become overweight and constipated. So make sure that you do not overfeed them, and break the food into small pieces so you can avoid choking hazards.
