The varied diet of the galaxy koi betta helps it adapt to and survive in a variety of watery settings. They are carnivorous. Frozen and dried food make up a large part of a betta pallifina's diet.
Betta is naturally carnivorous, they prefer to eat live food like small invertebrates and insects that float the surface of the water. Like other carnivores they have a short digestive system; a basic thing of carnivores' dieting process is they have difficulty processing carbohydrates such as corn and wheat; which are generally shown in many fish. A betta diet includes nutrition-rich animal protein.
Healthy diets maintain their natural color. Galaxy koi betta fish are picky eaters but also have good appetites. Once you prefer a palette; they become overweight and constipated. So make sure that you do not overfeed them, and break the food into small pieces so you can avoid choking hazards.
Bloodworms and frozen brine shrimp are great, but they will be happy when you provide them with live food. They will eat everything that is put in the tanks including small insects, snails, and brine shrimp.
Galaxy koi betta is sensitive to water quality and food intake. If their tank water is compromised by inappropriate cleaning activity, they can easily develop multiple diseases that are hard to cure. A betta fish has a very small stomach and a weak immune system. So, they easily develop digestive problems such as constipation. So, provide extra care and attention to their meal.
You can feed them animal protein-rich food and include green veggies in their diet. You can also feed them dry foods like flakes, granules, and pellets, and also include frozen and live food such as artemia and blood worms. Don’t overfeed them. Overfeeding can cause obesity or digestive problems. Properly supply a vitamin-enriched diet which increases the immunity system.
