Your breed is very energetic and intellectual, thus they need to be exercised for at least two hours every day. Your German Shepherd's (GSD) daily activity demands may be met with at least 90 minutes of physical exercise and the rest of the time spent on cerebral stimulation, cognitive games, and training.
When it comes to formal exercise (like walks), a good rule of thumb is five minutes for every month of age, and this is particularly true for puppies. These outings should give them the chance to sniff about, practice their manners, and meet new people and dogs in a safe atmosphere.
Because they inherit both the high intellect of a German Shepherd and the people-pleasing personality of a Golden Retriever, Golden Shepherds are often simple to teach. They pick up on things quickly and react well to clear instructions. Due to their greater stature, it is best to start training them as soon as possible.
Because of their high levels of activity, Golden Shepherds need regular chances to run about, play, and otherwise burn off steam. Daily walks and off-leash playtime in a secure environment should add up to at least two hours of exercise for your Golden Shepherd.
