If your child plays with betta fish find some interesting toys and ornaments for fish. They are easily attracted to these things. And playfully play with you. if you have acquired the betta give at least sometimes to the betta to recognize you. If Betta recognizes you she/he will start swimming forward to you, whenever she sees you as well as observe your movement.

When kids play with the betta make sure that don’t catch the fish because it’s unhygienic and pass the infection to the betta.
