Keagles are versatile canines who can withstand a wide variety of temperatures, however they fare best in milder regions. When compared to other breeds, they aren't as prepared to deal with really hot or cold weather. Keagle owners should pay close attention to their dogs' health and safety and take the required measures to keep them comfortable and safe in all kinds of weather.
Keagles are able to live and grow in temperate areas where the temperature ranges from around 10°C to 30°C (50°F to 86°F). Because of their medium stature, they are able to control their core temperature to a certain degree. But be warned, they can't handle high or low temperatures as well as certain breeds developed for such regions.
Keagles are susceptible to heatstroke and other heat-related illnesses, so it's important to keep them cool, shaded, and hydrated throughout the warmer months. Because they are prone to overheating, you should not leave them outside for long periods of time while the weather is hot.
Keagles may need extra layers of insulation when the weather becomes chilly. Even while their short, thick coat helps with insulation, it may not be enough when the weather becomes very chilly. If you want to keep them warm while they're out and about, a sweater or coat is a good investment.
