After completing spawning, transfer females in a separate tank, because there may be male betta eating them. The male is responsible for fertilization and hatching. The egg will hatch in 1-3 days. When the fry is released, this will not able to be swim but after 2-3 days fry will start swimming freely.

Newly released fry swimming shortly. The rise of the fry is a difficult process, they are not able to eat anything you can offer them baby shrimp. For raising healthy fry maintain water quality. Regularly change the water and not build up toxins such as ammonia. Once a fry becomes free swimming, you can start raising fry in an individual tank and add a filter.
