Renowned for their robust and muscular build, Maine Coons rank amongst the largest home cat breeds, with adult males weighing among 13 to 18 pounds (6 to eight kilograms) and ladies starting from eight to 12 pounds (four to six kilograms). Some outstanding individuals even surpass those weight levels, actually earning their title because the "giants" of the cat world.
