Originating from the Southeast Asia basin in Thailand, Indonesia is the betta fish. This freshwater fish is an experiment. The native is from Southeast Asia, regions such as Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Vietnam. Their natural habitat ranges from rice paddies to slow-moving water and flood plains.

Most of the betta is discovered in the region of South Asia's slow-moving stream. Mostly found in freshwater or tropical fish. First, they were discovered in the southeast near Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia, because of their appearance in a short period they are popular worldwide.

Water pollution and natural habitat destruction are a threat to the wild bettas. Habitat loss is the process that means natural habitat can not support the native species the place is polluted and affected by pollution as a result it can not provide the proper environment to live healthy species.

The behavior of orange betta

Territorial nature: in general betta is a territorial fish, a purple betta is not an exception. The threat to other fish via flaring gills. To prevent from the territorial nature put them in a large tank and arrange proper hiding space.

Behavior with tankmates: betta comes with a brilliant color so they stand out among all the betta, like other betta they are less aggressive, they prefer to live with a betta who has a peaceful nature and follows a different lifecycle. The species share the same parameter. Avoid the tankmate with a similar fin structure and bright color. To avoid conflict choose the right tank mates.

Activity: betta is curious and likes to observe their surroundings. Habitant plants, caves, and other safe decorations which look like their natural habitat.

Feeding: bettas are carnivores by nature and prefer animal protein and vegetables. Offer them food such as pellets, frozen, and live food.
