As we know betta fish is highly curious and intelligent by nature. Training betta fish is a good way to keep them engaged. We are going to discuss the most interesting tricks like following directions, swimming through a hoop, batta jumping, etc.

When you train to betta consider that she belive on you. betta might recognize you and be believe in to their owner. If you spend some time near your betta they might recognize you,

when they see you they start flaring and swimming toward you. Sometimes they observe your movement. Check whether your betta is healthy or not. If your betta is sick or has any disease don’t force her to train.

For the training, you can catch the attention of the female. There are various techniques to catch the attention such as giving them a signal, using sound and vibration via bell, call, and clap to cache the user's attention. Use light and shapes for indoor signals.

Catch the betta's attention via sound and light. If you get desired response reward with food. If they are not responding try to flash on them or touch their fin.Some bettas bite when you touch them. If Betta notices and follows your command reward them. Move your finger back and forth across the tank, when the fish do the same as you instructed reward with the fish food. Encourage fish with food.

The first step is getting your face to finger, teach them your betta is following your finger's

direction. In the starting phase, it’s difficult. Move your finger until they do not follow. Each successful attempt rewards with the food.

Betta is a natural jumper. Training your betta using a food stick. Ensure that food is within reach. Start with an underwater stick, when betta notice it come to you. next time, move the feeding stick above the water surface. Move the stick slightly above the water's surface. When betta jump reward them with food. Make sure that Betta does not jump out of the tank. Purchase a lid to ensure the safety of the betta.

Flaring is a beautiful thing you can see, it's a visual treat to watch. When the male betta sees other males he flares. Flare sometimes shows aggression or sometimes shows courtship. During the flaring, they look twice in their size. Flaring provides prevention from boredom and is

considered as an exercise and promotes a bubble nest. Put a small mirror and pen in the tank. Use the same penin whole the training session. Once betta flares, place the pen next to a mirror. Repeat the process here or four times. Sometimes betta may be afraid and didn’t move. Once betta comfortable and start flaring remove the mirror and place the pen. Give a reward when he/she is successful.

Hygiene is important; wash your hands with warm water.A shop contains toxins so better to avoid them. When you try to teach them new tricks the place is quite. Don’t be aggressive, when you try to teach them tobe patient. It’s taking time to teach them.

If your betta does not learn, be a little persistent. Don’t give them stress. Give a proper time to rest for them. When you start a training conduct a 5 -10 minute session. You can teach twice a day.
