Pomskies are dogs that shed a lot of fur on a regular basis, and also during particular seasons. Therefore, it is very important to have a daily grooming routine. To take care of their thick fur, use a special brush called an undercoat rake and a slicker brush. The undercoat rake is a tool made to get rid of tangles and loose or dead hair from the layer of fur that is closest to the dog's skin.

The slicker brush is good for untangling knots on the top layer of the dog's fur. Cutting your nails regularly is important to avoid feeling uncomfortable or getting hurt because of having nails too long.

Use nail clippers made specifically for dogs and be careful not to cut the pink area with blood vessels and nerves inside their nails. Moreover, it is important to brush your teeth regularly to avoid dental problems like gum disease and tooth decay. Use a toothbrush and toothpaste made specifically for dogs. Brush your Pomsky's teeth at least two times a week.

Pomskies can easily get ear infections, so it's really important to clean their ears often to stop wax and dirt from building up. Use a special ear cleaner for dogs and some cotton balls to gently clean the inside of your dog's ears. Regular grooming helps to improve the look and health of your Pomsky and can prevent health issues.
