Red betta are carnivores and consume daphnia, brine shrimp, zooplankton, and other small
insects such as mosquitoes, cetaceans, bloodworms, etc. Like other creatures, there are two biggest there of bettas pollution and habitat destruction.
The red bettas prediators are larger fish, salamanders, and birds. Even because of aggression and fighting betta kills other betta. So you can say that Betta is a threat to his own.
Water pollution and habitat destruction are threats to betta. Human activity such as chemical plantation and industrial development destroy their natural habitat. Much of this habitat is destroyed by human activity such as chemical exposure; because of that water quality becomes bad; which is harmful to betta because they prefer to live in freshwater.
Betta fish are harmless to humans; humans also keep them as pets for entertainment purposes which also affects their population. If you don’t properly care for the betta they not live long life. When betta are released from his species they are harmful to others because of the infection and disease. So keep the betta in his tank to prevent the disease.
