Rosetail betta is native to Southeast Asia. betta was discovered in Vietnam, Thailand, and Malaysia. Mekong Delta region. They are one of the trendy aquarium fish. It is one of the rare fish.

They originated from the Mekong Delta region the water is slow-moving and warm so they prefer to live in the same as their natural habitat. Even if they can tolerate hard or cold water they weaken their immune system. They do not need flowing water.

Rosetail betta fish are aggressive and live in freshwater environments such as marshes, slow-flowing streams, rice paddies, and stagnant ponds. All betta live in the same environment and their natural habitat is the same.

You can set up the habitat for the rosetail betta, they are identical to their natural habitat. You can put them live or artificial plants. You can include an almond leaf as a floating object or hiding place. Provide the betta look like their natural habitat. Human activity destroys their natural habitat.

The two threats of the wild bettas are water pollution and habitat destruction, habitant loss is the process where natural inhabitants can not support their native species because the place is polluted and the consequence is they can not provide a proper environment for healthy species.
