They have vulnerable predators. Invertebrates such as water beetles and other aquarium insect can be poisonous to eat. A rosetail betta has a limited population, difficult to breed them. For breeding, they need extra attention and care.
water pollution and natural habitat destruction are threats to betta. Human activity such as chemical plantation and industrial development destroy their natural habitat. Much of this habitat is destroyed by human activity such as chemical exposure; because of that water quality becomes bad; which is harmful to betta because they prefer to live in freshwater.
Much of their natural habitat is destroyed by human activity the rise of industrial areas, and chemical factory plantations. The chemical fluid in water becomes a water-quality bed. And bed and polluted water harm the health of the betta. Which reduces the life of the betta. A healthy betta lives in fresh water.
The predators of large betta fish are cats, fish, newts, salamanders, and birds. The predators of giant bettas are large fish and seals. Even because of their aggression they kill each other. Sometimes female bettas eat their eggs.
Pollution can damage the water condition and pollute the water. Betta is a freshwater fish so they cannot survive in bed water. They may kill the fish.
Betta fish are harmless to humans; humans also keep them as pets for entertainment purposes which also affects their population. If you don’t properly care for the betta they will not survive for a long time.
