The color of the samurai betta fish is black and white means this is a bi-color fish like an ancient warrior of a Japanese samurai who covered their face and body with black cloth and wrapped white horizontal straps over the body.

It is very difficult to identify the betta fish gender when they are young, you can identify the male and female betta when they become young. male samurai halfmoon betta has more bright and vibrant colors than females. Males are more attractive than women. when the female samurai halfmoon betta are ready to mate they develop vertical spots on their body, while the male betta body doesn’t show any change.

Male betta have longer and thicker fins than females. Most female betta have short caudal fins, while males have long fins. females have shorter and wider bodies than males. male is more aggressive than female, male and female keep together only for breeding. · Nemo –base contains two colors white or orange. main colors: Orange, red, yellow, black

Breeders develop different varieties of finnage and scale:
