First, consider what types of betta you want to purchase because they have a variety of colors and fins available. Some people even like to buy halfmoon betta based on their eating preferences.

Most fish eat frozen foods and flakes. You can easily find these foods in pet stores and order them online. It is always best to give them a small piece of food. If you feed them large pieces they can not chew because of the small mouth and teeth and sometimes food stuck in the throat.

Bloodworms and frozen brine shrimp are great, but they will be happy when you provide them with live food. They will eat everything that is put in the tanks including small insects, snails, and brine shrimp

betta should be fed reasonably with little aggressiveness if their caregivers keep a careful eye on them during feeding times. Prevent competitiveness and injury by avoiding congestion during feeding times.

Betta has a weak immune system and digestion system. Serve a betta small portion of food, if you overfeed a betta, they can develop constipation and bloating. When these conditions develop, avoid animal protein, and offer them green boiled peas.

You can schedule the food serving, and offer food twice a day in small chunks. Do not put too much food in the tank, if betta leaves the food uneaten they disturb the tank condition. And water is polluted.
