The Thai cat, also called the Wichianmat, comes from Thailand. They had been bred via the Thai royal own family and rich people for decades. People loved them because they were quite, clever, and loyal.

These cats first came to Europe across the late 1800s. People in Europe preferred them loads, so they started breeding them in other locations too. But whilst Thai cats went to Europe and North America, they had been modified a piece. They were bred to have longer heads and slimmer bodies. This made them look exclusive, and they have become what we recognise these days as Siamese cats.
