Foerschi is native to Southeast Asia, especially Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam. All have different colors, shades, tails, and fins. Via selective breeding, you can create beautiful specimens.

The difference between male and female betta foerschi is a males have long bodies and vibrant colors whereas females are shorter than males and available in pale colors. Foreschi betta generally prefers an omnivore's diet. Their primary diet consists of kelp and red and green algae. They are foodie, eating different types of small invertebrates such as anemones, crustaceans, and sponges. They can eat animal protein-rich and plant-based food. You can offer them pellets occasionally.
A betta has a special organ which is called a labyrinth organ, with the help of them they inhale oxygen from the air and survive sometimes out of the water.
A betta has a weak immune system, so they easily catch the disease. Common diseases of the bettas are fin rot, velvet, ich, etc. With the ideal care and maintenance, you can prevent them from diseases.
The biggest threat to Betta is water pollution and industrial development. their natural habitat has been destroyed by human activity which is chemical and refinery plantation or industrial development.
