By nature, black orchid bettas are carnivores. So, they prefer protein protein-rich diet. Their diet includes animal fat and plants. You can offer them a variety of food such as daphnia, brine shrimp, tubifex worms, and frizzed dried bloodworms.

Bettas are typically eating live food. In the wild, they mostly feed on small aquatic creatures, insect larvae, and any other high-protein food they are found on the surface of the water. They are not satisfied with veggies but prefer meaty foods for proper growth.
