Much of their natural habitat is destroyed by human activity the rise of industrial areas, and chemical factory plantations. The chemical fluid in water becomes a water-quality bed. And bed and polluted water harm the health of the betta. Which reduces the life of the betta. A healthy betta lives in fresh water.
pollution and habitat destruction are the two biggest threats.. Human activity such as chemical plantations and industrial development destroy their natural habitat. Much of these habitats are destroyed by human activity such as chemical exposure; because of that water quality becomes bad; which is harmful to betta because they prefer to live in freshwater.
Human activity and polluted water and the environment also affect beta lifespan. Polluted water kills the betta or infected betta. Because betta prefers to live in freshwater. So plantation and chemical exposure is a threat to betta life.
The black orchid betts prediators are larger fish, salamanders, and birds. Even because of aggression and fighting betta kills other betta. So you can say that Betta is a threat to his own.
