By nature, combtail bettas are carnivores. So, they prefer protein rich diet. Their diet include animal fat and plants. You can offer them variety of food such as daphnia, brine shrimp, tubifex worms and frizzed dried bloodworms.

You can offer green vegetable such as spinach and green peas. You can cut theme in a small piece to avoid choking hazards. If they feel sick you can give them boiled and peel of peas, for easy digestion.

Make sure the betta food is nutrition-rich, you should feed them twice a day, not more than that. An adult combtail betta nearly eat five pellets each session. It is important that not overfeed them, and don’t waste food. When feeding is complete remove Uneaten food will quickly which makes water polluted and poor quality of water causes health issue. Freeze-dried: treat your betta sometimes for change offer them Daphnia, Brine Shrimps, and Bloodworms as an occasional treat. When they are bored from the regular diet offer them dried worms or shrimp.
