Halfmoon betta color variants
Solid color halfmoon betta: solid color half moon bettas are highly popular, among breeders and hobbyists. As the name suggests, these bettas have only one color throughout the body and fin.The one the most popular varieties are the white halfmoon betta, blue halfmoon betta, and red halfmoon betta. They also come with a single solid metallic color such as bronze and silver. These halfmoon bettas come with a vibrant color although they might not be equal across the body.
Bi colored halfmoon : bi colored halfmoon betta is a contrast to solid color halfmoon betta. They have two colors throughout their body. It is the most common pattern you can see in bettas, but they can create striking patterns that are widely appreciated in the aqua world.
Dragonscale Halfmoon: this is an advanced breeding result of Halfmoon, derived by the genes of Betta Mahachaiensis into regular aquarium Bettas. The result is a thick and bright scale that looks like a dragon protecting the cover on the body of Halfmoon Betta. The result is a striking appearance of the body, which makes dragon bettas very popular in the betta world.
