The samurai betta originated from Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, and Malaysia. Wild bettas prefer to live in fresh tropical water which is surrounded by rice paddies, marshes, and slow-moving streams or stagnant ponds.

Most of the betta is discovered in the region of South Asia's slow-moving stream. Mostly found in freshwater or tropical fish. First, they were discovered in the southeast near Thailand, Vietnam, and Indonesia, because of their appearance in a short period they are popular worldwide.

Betta fish is known for his aggressive behavior. Both male and female betta are aggressive by nature. Compared to female betta male betta is more aggressive.

If you want to put the betta together, put only one betta because of their aggressive and territorial nature. If anyone lives in their territory they attack silently. If you put two male bettas together they will start fighting and end up with injury or killing.

Behavior:

Prefer to live individually: because of their aggressive nature, they prefer to live alone. Put them individually to prevent conflict.

Interaction: They are aggressive with the species which appear like them. It is essential to choose tank mates who have a peaceful nature to avoid conflict.

Curious: They are curious and like to explore nearby things. Their nature can be quite entertaining to betta lovers when they are kept in the tank. They also have extraordinary dancing skills. betta can recognize the caretaker if they spend some time with it. If they get to know you, when betta see you they come towards you and observe your nearby things and your actions.
